Digital media initiative to raise awareness about the Protect Chagos Campaign

Protect Chagos Campaign

The Zoological Society of London asked us to design a campaign to promote public awareness about the Chagos Archipelago in the Indian Ocean which was being assessed by the British Government as a possible Marine Protected Area. We created an eye-catching campaign which included a postcard, website, animation, newsletter and series of banner ads. The campaign, funded by Pew Environment, gathered online momentum and ultimately amassed an incredible 275,000 votes in just a few weeks, influencing the British Government to declare the area an MPA - putting it on a par with the Galapagos and Great Barrier Reef.
